Really enjoyed my year and a half on the Street Twin. I just cut a deal to trade it in on a new Rocket 3GT. Dealer (good dealer) is in Las Vegas 85 miles away. This is my second purchase with them so they will deliver the R3 and pick up the Street Twin. All paperwork done online. Pics soon.

You'll have to take it a bit easy during the break-in ride home. I think you said it's 85 miles so that shouldn't be a problem to vary your speeds if that's what's needed. I haven't bought a new bike in ten years so things like break-in may have changed.
But good for you! I hope you love it TUP

BTW, I spent Christmas week 2019 in Vegas and had a super time.

They dropped 88lbs this year, new frame and other components. I am excited. The Street Twin was a FUN bike but a tad small for me having come off HD's. The R3 is about 150lbs more than the Street Twin and almost 200lbs less than a HD touring bike.

There is a video, that I posted in another thread, of a pair of Italian (?) brothers drag racing an R3 and a Ducati. Neither man was ready for the R3's torque, but the older brother handled it better and grew to prefer the R3. Their summary: the R3 has better torque off the line, and the Ducati has better high-end.

By the way, the R3 CAN do wheelies.
