I upgraded my twin front discs on my 73 Tiger 750 using LF Harris lightened discs. These offer a small weight saving benefit (400g) over the original solid discs which helps offset the extra weight of the non-standard twin disc set-up. An extra benefit is looks and the ability to use a disc lock.

Very nice. An excellent mod

I traded my 6 year old Tiger 800 for a 4 month old T120 with quite a few accessories and hee haw mileage. The dealer brought it through from Edinburgh and took the Tiger 800 away - we were both happy with the deal.

I had a test ride on a Speedmaster. Loved the engine and handling and found the riding position surprisingly comfortable but couldn't live with the crude suspension. I saw the T120 sparkling in the showroom when I went back and the rest is history.

Nice bike and it has the crash bars that are really hard to istall, good on you!! I also have a Bobber and as you noticed on the Speedmaster the suspension needed a $2K upgrade to make it rideable for me.

I fitted a Dart Series 3 Fly Screen to my new T120. After much deliberation I went with black, I think it suits it. I like the adjustable tilt feature which should allow me to tweak it to suit me.

It's freezing here and the roads are manky so I'll need to put off testing it for a bit.

I really like the looks of it; but I need something a bit taller.

I did this mod a few months back but thought I would share the experience. I purchased stainless steel spokes to replace the rusted OEM spokes on my Thruxton R. I purcheased the bike in Florida and the wet weather and salt air did a number on some of the steel parts. While the wheels had to be disassembled I went with a change to the front brake rotors and replaced them with wave rotors. When I installed the new rotors it changed the distance between the speed ring and sensor to too little gap. I had to put a shimming washer under the sensor pickup to correct the problem of throwing ABS codes. Here's before and afters:

About the same time as I did the brake rotors on the Thuxton I changed out the OEM bar levers for shorties. I made that change on my Bobber and liked it so much I changed them on my T-120 and Thruxton:
