Funny you guys talking about size. When I was looking around the first thing that I noticed about the Speedy was it seemed quite large in comparison to others. Now I am not a big one on big bulky bikes so this was one of my major concerns at the time, would I find it too big and bulky? Well as it turned out I was pleasantly surprised at the way it handled for its size.

Yes and I think this is the one thing that Triumph looks like they are doing to try and get the HD people to switch over.

Not going to happen. IMHO if you want a cruiser get the real deal.

Not I my friends. i really don't like BMW's at all. But i also LIKE vibration. Not bad vibration like that buzzy irritating type. But like my speedmaster....low frequency vibes that let you feel the motor but w/o putting your hands to sleep. i like smooth, but only to the degree my bike is or thereabouts.

As for noise, i HATE mechanical noise like mine has, but i live with it. This brings me to a extremely important wish for the new bike....please god please, make the valve train quiet and hydraulic self adjusting ! That will seal the deal for me w/o a doubt. (yeah, like they don't already have me helplessly snagged )

:y23: They have got your number and the bike is calling you

They aren't calling, they're beating me over the head with a lead pipe ! I'm destined for the Thunderbird, or should i say "chunderturd" like they call it at RAT.

Well Dave, you got your wish.... I will be testing it for you. :) Now you have over a year to save up, and you better start now cuz i know you will have to have one. Don't even argue.

Chuderturd? WTF is wrong with those people? It is good for Triumph to sell more motorcycles regardless of type. If they only had the Bonnie they would be bankrupt.

Yeah at least I know I will be getting a very good and honest review from you and I can go by it as we have the exact same feelings about our Speedmasters. Alas for me right now it is only a far off dream.

They are immature idiots.

I absolutely love the concept. I have been waiting 30 years for Triumph to build a BIG TWIN!! Only changes for me would be slah cut shorties, Custom Paint with Triumph painted on instead of badges, different rear fender, Windshield and Bags. Depending on the price I may own a Brandy NEW Trumpet!!! :y115:
