Most things I've read say the screen should be set so you see over the top a point 30 feet in front. When raining or foggy you can stretch your head up a little farther if needed to see closer. If it is extended time, lowering the screen is an option. If the screen is thin, it can "flutter" in use and will scramble your eyeballs! i bought a cheapie replacement for a damaged H-D Road King cop bike I had, height set at tip of my nose so I was looking just over the top f it. On any but the shortest rides, eyes would get VERY tired from constant "fluttering" just below line of sight.
Can you provide a link to the site you purchased the screen from, thanks. My cheapie screen from China works a treat. Maybe not as tidy at the back as a genuine but finished my Wednesday ride fresh as I started and no buffeting.

I'm looking at two windshields. National Cycle N20610 VStream -Polycarbonate. It's my preference. I'm waiting for an answer about the height above the stock. And the Givi’s D6415ST-acrylic. It's 5" taller than stock. Stock is several inches too short, even at the highest position. Can you provide a link to the site you purchased the screen from, thanks.
