Yeah, it started right up this morning but I think the way I've got the fuel lines routed due to where the inlets are on the non-handed Mikunis, and the limited space in there, it's not feeding fuel properly. So, after lunch I'll reroute things and see if I can get the idle dialed in... and just maybe I'll have a chance to go bed in the front disc pads and see how she handles in the canyon. It's a gorgeous day.

Albuquerque is unrecognizable. On the west side of the river where we used to go dove hunting when I was a wee lad, there's this thing called Rio Rancho--urban sprawl on steroids. Lots of people fleeing CA, TX, OK in substantial numbers, judging from the license plates. I'm lucky to live in the countryside out of town--but as cities go not awful, I guess...
We moved to the far NE edge of the city in 1966 which was the corner of Comanche and Eubank streets. Everything past our house to the north-east was mesa and a few scattered houses up in the foothills. By time I left in 1971 there were house further up Comanche as developers moved the city toward Sandia Crest.

Yup--and 'South Euy' was where we all went to drag race (illegally) Friday or Saturday nights, as its southern end had a nice, long straight stretch that terminated in the dump. I was too poor to have a hot rod, so had to settle for holding two flashlights and trying to dodge the cars whenever their tires broke loose... Google "Iron Butterfly" Chevy van. That guy used to show up with his headers uncapped and rip off amazingly fast times, the front wheels very nearly leaving the ground...
