If you are going ride the bike up a ramp into a truck bed you need -

1. a long enough ramp
2. a ramp wide enough to get your feet down
3. enough speed to clear the ramp with out having to give it throttle and spin the rear wheel

That said, I walk my bikes up the ramp with a person on the other side with me.

Or back up to a small hill so you can ride onto the truck bed without a ramp!
