Spring Tide

Having very high winds and the direction they blowing we are experiencing very high spring tides in the last few days, some of the low lying coastal areas are seeing a bit of flooding.

Flood waters can do so much damage

They can and there is not much you can do about stopping them. If the wind direction has to change we will see this in the lower parts of our city like we did many years ago.

We had the same tides as autumn tides fed by the east winds from tropical disturbances. This caused flooding in some areas like in the video. Living on the coast is risky.
