You'll probably think I'm crazy, but I couldn't live where there weren't 4 distinct seasons or without snow. Our activities just change to things to do in snow.

It gets old by the end of March or so sometimes when you're itching to get the bike out though

I would think if you grow up in that kind of climate it would be hard to go without a bit of snow in the winter, as you say, there are winter activity's that you would miss.

I am with Harry on this but then I suppose us being from the South we are more used to summer activities 365 days a year. Our winter is really hanging on this year and it is starting to get to me now

Dark about 6 pm, light about 6:30 am and it's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better.

A little less than eight weeks until the equinox and longer days for the northern hemisphere. In the mean time, lots of dark and cold - for some of us anyway.
