Thanks Sparkdiver, I'm ex marine electrician done a bit in Antarctica. Saw some divers repair the boat with 10mm plate anchored off The Hebrides once after we got a hole in it, very impressed tough guys. Anyway shed toasty just started work on 58 Super Rocket putting modern CBR 600 forks on, 8 in twin leader BSA /Triumph elec start from Steve Mcfarlane and Nova 5 speed box. Prob invest in a bit of SRM stuff see how work goes! Roll on Spring.

Well, typical Texas weather. We've got intermittent rain all morning, followed by another coldfront moving in. Going to the Triumph Icons Tour tonight, in Austin, and was planning to ride (in spite of how crazy people in Austin drive). However, since it's suppose to drop down into the 20s tonight/tomorrow morning, I'll be going in the Tacoma. They saying we'll get back into the 70s on Sat, just before another coldfront hits.

40%? That's quite a bit. Some friends of mine used to have a place in Naples, but recently sold it.

The subdivision is a ghost town after May. It seems like the Quebec Canadians prefer the east coast and the Ontario Canadians prefer Central Florida and the Gulf of America coast.

My late fiancée was French and naturalized US citizen. Some of the Quebec snowbirds can't or choose not to speak English. They would speak Canadian French to my fiancée. She would tell them in English that she was fluent in French and that she needed to practice her English (in which she was very fluent). She would tell them that English is the primary language in the US and that she chose to speak English. She was also fluent in German and Arabic..

I can understand her desire to speak English. When I worked with Bombardier there were 2 of us out of forty some that did not speak French . The others treated us like gold but the CEO had a habit of speaking French only in small meetings I attended , officially they conducted all their business in English . We have lots of Québécois here in Charlottetown PEI and several Acadian communities where a few old timers might be French only but the rest are totally bilingual . My grand kids are in French Emersion school programs but if they don’t use it later in life they will eventually lose it .
Snow scheduled for mid afternoon then windy and rain at mid nite , then back to normal temperatures . Will be messy , but hopefully won’t lose power . Don’t want to have to push that 200 lb Honda out to the meter and hook up the big cable . It could use the exercise and so could I but I got it for insurance not exercise .
