It would be a great thing for Pennsylvania to get involved with.

Presently, when the weather warms up more, I do know that here in PA many of those electronic road signs that they post Amber Alerts on will begin running alerts for motorists to watch for motorcycles.

That is a really good idea. The biggest single thing that Florida could do for both biker and automobile safety is to ban non hands free cell phone while driving.

"Think bike" here would tend to lean toward bicyclists as bike paths and much in the forefront here. Watch for motorcycles sends the better message in this side of the pond.

Bicycles are becoming the "in green thing" here and are so often a menace in traffic. They don't follow any rules of the road and you never know what they're going to do next when you approach them on the street. They violate all common sense. Hand signals don't exist; they weave in and out of traffic, up on the sidewalk, back onto the street and race along sidewalks at high speed scaring the bee jeepers out of pedestrians.
I can't tell you how many times I've been buzzed too close for comfort on the sidewalk by a bicyclist from behind when you have no idea they're coming upon you.
They whine and complain that they don't get any respect on the street. If they want respect they will have to earn it.
