When you see this in the USA especially Texas what does it mean?

In some states this means no trespassing, the idea is that a sign can be torn down but post are more permanent. It is also a law in some states Tx is probably one.
I don't know what the purple paint on the posts signifies. That shade of purple on pipes and signs signifies reclaimed water from sewage treatment that is NOT potable. We irrigate our lawn with reclaimed water. Perhaps the pasture or crops behind the fence are irrigated with reclaimed water or it is reclaimed water spray area where the reclaimed water is sprayed to allow it to seep into the ground.
This is what I read on the Net but was not sure so I asked people that would know

Texas Purple posts, gates or painted trees is posted as no trespassing for the reasons TD stated.
In some areas of Texas it also means trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again.
In Florida a no trespassing sign or a fence means no trespassing. Agricultural land and construction properties are automatically no trespassing whether fenced or not and regardless of signs. The fences and signs are mostly to protect the landowners from liability as well as keep livestock in.
I am going to paint my truck purple.
