As mentioned, this is the third part of the north to south run over the Paekak hill from Paekakariki to Pauatahanui
This section starts at battle hill where the road opens up in to the Pauatahanui valley, and ends in Pauatahanui itself, and runs just over 5 mins.

Farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrk.

A really good video, Harry. What settings are you using?

Carl this series 1,2 &3 were shot on the r2 setting with a closed back on the housing. To compare with the r5 setting, have a look at 'sketchy on the hill'.Same place as part 1&2,but going the other way.
It was edited on win movie maker, but be sure to use the 'for high definition replay' setting when saving,as anything less will distort the colours.

Great video Harry and yes once the speed limits are down you can bet they will be having speed checks along that road

That would be for sure Dave. I cant believe it,they sprout on that it is for safety reasons, using that theory they should just close all roads and make us walk.

harry that was spot on ! .....i still cant get over how much like wales nz is !

that may be so Shane, but we speek the queens propa inglish over here eh bro.

We stopped with yellow many years ago, all white now.
Simple rule, unbroken line do not cross, broken line cross with safety. That's probably universal.

We use white for the side markings, white for lane divisions on multi lane roads, and yellow for division of lanes with on coming traffic. A two lane road would have a yellow center strip - broken for passing, double yellow for no passing.
