Paekak hill on an america. part 1

As most know, this is one of my favourite rides.
And since I just got my licence back, it was on my very short list of things that needed doing.
This is the short run up to the summit from the paekak end.
I will post up more as I get more usable footage.

Very nice video I enjoyed that and could relate to it in so many ways, riding on the right side of the road, speedo reading out the correct values. The cool thing was your speed showing would have been about what I would have expected from those turns. Stunning view from that lookout point although you did not show us much of that

Thanks, I can now tick NZ off my bucket list, been there, ridden up the hill, great stuff.

Sure was a busy day, 3 cars coming at you, they'll have to put traffic lights in at that rate.

I will put up footage going down the other side ( much more scenic) as soon as I can get good stuff.
Unfortunately,the rest of that footage was buggered as I caught up with a ute, and no passing opportunity came up for a couple of minutes.
