Very possible that as the oil gets some miles on it and mixes with a bit of the dirty old stuff it’s aeration properties change a bit …

I hear you. I freaked when I saw that color in my oil too. Just changed oil today after doing some work on my motorcycle. I’ll see what color it is either tomorrow or Sunday. If it’s like before, more riding! LoL.I can stop worrying One more ride and all is back to normal.
