The last bike I saved from the rust pile is a 1971 TR6r which I previously posted pictures of. That bike, I carried around in boxes for 30 years. Now I have a new project, a 1967 TR6c that has not been running for, around 25 years. I am still trying to glean the history out of the previous owner. I know that he is the second owner after four brothers owned the bike and road it on a rural farm somewhere in the east USA. History to follow, I hope. I have decided that I will freshen up the inside of the motor, wheel bearings, steering head bearings, swing arm bushings, but intend to leave as much of the patina as possible. With that, I will be looking for parts that are serviceable and not shiny new. So, if anyone has parts or can direct me to suppliers, I would appreciate it. The suppliers that I used on the last rebuild are retired. So I'm starting over. Pictures of as-is condition will follow soon.
Thanks
Ducman

keep that 2 into 1 exhaust, even if you dont use it. they were period performance modifications and they are NOT easy to find these days.

once you price replacement high-pipe TR6C silencers you may decide that the 2 into 1s dont look so bad after all.
