I think the fly by wire system will be good. . . in the future. Right now it's still a little to new/soon for me to really want it before it's seen some real world testing. But even with that, I do like the idea of the system. Only time will tell if it is something I would really like to have or if it will just continue to be something that I will just wish they would perfect for real world use.

I finally got the link to work. I like this
New for 2015 multiple rider modes, including ABS and traction control options, are all adjusted from the left hand switch gear and by the mode button next to the display. In off-road mode the ABS to the rear wheel is cut and the traction control is dumbed down. As a safety feature if the bike is turned off, the original setting will be restored.

Hi guys. Sorry I've been so quiet- no problems but I've just been busy. :(

Riding impressions of the XCx: 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 review

Fly by wire throttle: I've ridden one bike with it, the Tiger 1200. It has the responses of a Honda Cub at small throttle openings at low revs, yet once the revs rise it has the throttle response of a sports bike. I found it instantly intuitive to use and really effective in the way it works and found it to be one of the most outstanding features of a very good bike.
