Just got off the phone with a friend who lives in Regina Saskatchewan.
He said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling.
The temperature is 32 below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force.
Wind chill is -59. His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare.
He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in.

We have winter storm warnings today for the panhandle of Florida. They expect sleet, freezing rain and even snow. The last time we had a winter storm warning for for northern Florida was in the late 1980's. Now warning for us in central and south Florida.

Yep its HERE!!!!!! LMMAO I have experinced lake effect Cleveland snow 3-5 foot in 24 hours........this has SHUT the city down entirely..... "state of emergency" declared by the Gov. stay off the roads etc. etc.

Pretty much shutdown around here too. Wouldn't be so bad if we got snow, this ice sucks.
