A few years ago my friend in Norway sent me some pictures of his house covered with snow, It sure is picture post card views. If you ever get the chance to visit Norway DO IT, it's like Scotland on steroids. All the Norwegians speak better English than the English do, so you won't have a language barrier to worry about. Norway on a motorbike is something else too.

There is snow on the ground in Pensacola and across the western panhandle. I-10 is closed in sections of the panhandle due to ice. Here it is 49F and will only reach 50. We will get rain; but no freeze. At the ranch near Lake City if is currently sleeting and they have a hard freeze tonight. I have fired up our wood burning cook stove and the house is tasty warm.

You'd better get some big fans going down there and blow all of that stuff out to sea before we arrive, that's all I can say. We must have been in the "balmy" 30's F today. Should be a "heat wave" of 40 F or so on Sunday!!!!

It will be in the low 80's here Saturday, Sunday and well into next week. In the meanwhile, I have the wood burning stove cranked up. It is 84F in the dining room and in the low 70's in the rest of the house.

Good grief, my friend....................my "northern blood" couldn't stand that kind of heat indoors; we run about 58 to 62 in our house. "SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED" can't stand it being too warm. Sweats and socks........................uniform of the day (evening?)!
