Good Morning from North Wales!
My name is Mark and have had 14 bikes in the past from trikes to cruisers, R1's TO BLACKBIRD etc.....
i recently Swapped a gsx1400 for a 2003 tiger 955I with 10,000 miles on the clock with a view to selling on.. how wrong could i be! i have never ridden anything that has made me smile in all my years! My first impression of this machine is someone who has ridden 20 or so bikes has chosen 2 of the best bits of every bike they have ridden and developed the tiger 955! outstanding Torque, engine sound and Handling? within the first 30 minutes of my maiden Voyage i managed to burn a ZX7 clean away maneuvering wise and torque through the twisties ;-) Yes i am in love LOL!!!
to add insult to my nicely new found injury i filled her up when i got home to find i had only used £14 of fuel from Birmingham to Bangor north wales!!! Gobsmacked as i really gave the bike a good road testing.
I also am a competent Google mechanic so set straight to work on changing both Tyres for con-ti attack ones as i don't like the Reviews of the tourance. dropped the oil and changed the filter for a K&N one.
I have noticed that there aren't any pictures on how to remove the tank to sort out the Air filter and change the plugs so i will be doing that in the next day or so with pictures to help anyone out. i will be using k&n FILTER AND IRIDIUM Plugs so will provide all the gory details ASAP!
Heated grips are great apart from where the switch is positioned but have a idea for a easy modification for that
Anyway i am looking forward to catching up with other members on this site so stay tuned as i will be a frequent poster,

to the forum and as you can see you will feel right those here, we have a few other members that feel the same about the bike
