Hi! Bittersweet. A long time friend and riding partner was killed a couple months ago. Now that the smoke has cleared, his widow is giving me his 66 TT special. I'm gonna need some info and am very glad to make your acquaintance. Pics will be forthcoming when I take possession. Thanks in advance for all the info I'm sure I'll glean from this forum.

Yeah. He was my best friend and riding buddy for 17 years. Best I can do now is make her perfect and keep her riding. She's close. She's a runner! He was a good guy. I'll miss him.

That is sad and yes do hom justice by getting the bike back to new condition. You will find plenty help here so just ask if you have any questions

Will do, Brother. Thank you. I'll do a thorough look through first so as not to make anyone repeat themselves! Just smokes a little, cam followers I think he said? And I need To find the tank badges and knee bumpers, he had them, I just have to find them. Otherwise, it's down to service info, whitworth info, and learning Lucas electronics.
