well progress is happening, cases are together on my 69 650 bonne. was over at a buddys house the oyher day who runs a front engine nitro dragster. he is running through the top end and took the copper head gaskets, put them in the oven at 400 for 20 min and put them back on the car. he said this anneals the gasket. since i have personally seen him go over 200mph with his setup i had to ask if anyone does this with the triumph copper head gaskets?

I have annealed copper oil plug gaskets with no problems. I don't see why it would not work with a head gasket.
This is common practice with copper head gaskets.
