By the way, Rocky, I'm on my way to the ranch to take of my place up there. It is going to get into the single digets F the next two night in north Florida. I have to protect my pipes and those things. It will get down to 31 here tonight. No white stuff though!

During that recent brutal cold snap here there were quite a few frozen pipes.
It's 3C (37F) and raining today. This is just nuts!!!!
More cold air coming though!!
We usually have a couple of hard freezes each winter; so this is really normal. By Thursday, it will be back in the mid 70's F.
I remember building igloos when I was a kid. Always was amazed at how warm it can be inside one!

Dang Rocky, it was warmer there than it was here, we got up to 31F/-0.5C
During the day yesterday the temp rose to 7C (44F) and rained all day which got rid of about half of the snow.
At 6:30 AM today it's still 5C(41F)!!!!
But that cold Arctic air is right behind this warm front CRY

56F here yesterday, with lots of rain and goodbye to most of the snow......................about 5F this morning; even had trouble opening the cars doors, what with the frozen moisture from the rains. Did I ever tell any of you that I HATE the cold??
We had about the same high temp as you yesterday. However is was 34F here this morning vs. your 5F. Brrrr

On a serious note they had a bit about this Ice City China on TV the other night, absolutely stunning and unbelievable
