I so admire anyone that can do this, this really looks fantastic I bet your pleased as punch how it's coming along. I would be.
Wow really looking great, Gavin does awesome work for sure 
So, what's the status? Will it be done by mid-December?

Hi GP, thanks for the interest.
Progress is continuing nicely, but I don't think the bike won't be ready by mid-December and in any case, I'm not in a hurry; what with the 4 bikes already parked in my garage, space is going to be an issue! We've just imported a bunch of gearbox and engine spares from the UK. The frame is currently being painted and the bright-work has been sent off for chroming which will take a week or so. No new pics, I'm afraid.
There is quite a strong Cafe Racer following here in South Africa with chapters in the various cities so I'm really looking forward to taking my bike to one of the Cape Town meets.
Best to all the Triumph Talkers.

Looking good, my guess is you'll get some very favorable comments when you turn up to the meets.
Very nice, at first the gold wheels threw me but looking longer I started to really like the look. 
I think I will need to take a ride and visit Gavin and get a pre owners ride on it
