On my way to Berthoud to hookup with somebody's to go supermoto racing in South Daktoa. I had my 40lbs gear bag and essentials on my back. Took a detour through town to scope out the damage. Came up to a sketch crossing and tried to give it a shot...

*Update*

Took 2 days to find my bike! Had to wait 9 days before I was able to dig her out! Needs a complete tear down before i can turn her over again...

A very stupid - and expensive - decision. One does not mess around with flood waters. I would have been too embarrass at my own stupidity to have published that video.

I'm often stunned at the stupid things people do when it comes to moving flood waters.
That little bike would be nothing more than a toothpick to those flood waters.
A gallon of water weighs ten pounds (10.45 kg). If you see a million gallons of water moving across the road in front of you why in the world would you drive into it!!!!!!!!!!
How often do we see nitwits in 4x4's drive into flood waters and are either swept away to their death or having to be rescued by helicopter - if they're lucky!
