Good day, Here is the 1995 Triumph Thunderbird 900 that I rescued from the bone breakers with a seized engine!

Except for the shorter windscreen, looks like my beautiful bike.
Greyfell, The Windshield is the Triumph Roadster design that I spent months searching for as Triumph stopped selling them years ago. I have the shorter one which is sitting in a box in my office. The photo attached is with the smaller wind screen!

Also rode the T-Bird the other night for the first time since my Achilles Tendon surgery and the resigned seat and stick coils that I installed late last fall has transformed this ride. It’s solid, very responsive on cornering and when you apply power, it’s right now with no lagging. Another side note in that the engine idle has dropped and no longer is searching with the idle going up and down as before. I highly recommend these stick coils as it has made a huge difference to my T-Bird

Had to go and dig out of my wife’s Facebook account as I only recently went on Facebook.

Here is the contact for the chap who makes them. Log into Facebook

There is a YouTube video and I have asked Paul to send me a link that I will forward! Sorry for taking so long….

Hi @B25bsaboy it would be really appreciated if you could you tell me what the resistance is on your stick coils as I have done the conversion last year on my 2002 Thunderbird with stick coils from China and coil wiring from the USA for Ford vehicles and grommets from UK to seal the stick coils in place total cost was £45 and bike is running great.

Good day, I have no idea what the resistance is, thus anything I might say maybe full of poo! On another, “Daddy Llkes”what you did to the attached Triumph 900 photo! Wonder what a Triumph Roadster wind shield you look like, rather than the shorter Sport one you have?

Thank you @B25bsaboy I was just interested in what the resistance was in your coils and if it was similar to mine I would have posted the details of what I used and where I bought them from as the total cost of mine was 4 Honda CBR coils £30 from China, 8 Ford connectors from the USA £11 and a pack of large grommets £3 from the UK. But only time will tell if my coils are compatible long term with the 900 igniter.
