My 95' Thunderbird was stolen and recovered by the cops but the thief ripped up the wiring harness trying to jump start it. I've been able to put it mostly back together but am still having issues getting power to lights. Does anyone know what the attached harness is for? From reviewing the Haynes wiring diagram it appears to be the "alarm control unit connection" however it has 12 wires on the connection and the diagram shows 11? Thanks in advance for any help! And yes I have extensively searched the forums without any answers.

It didn’t come with an alarm, but there it is wired to accept one. There is a 7 wire alarm harness with a jumper plug. It’s possible this harness is also part of the alarm but if so I’m not sure how to jump it.

I think I figured it out. It appears I am missing an alarm blanking plug. Triumph SHORTING PLUG Part # T2500050. I'm going to order one and see if it resolves my issue. I'll report back.

I could be off-base here, but...

Picture the "alarm sounder connection" and the "alarm control unit connection" as two parts of the same connector. That seems to give you your 12 wires. As mentioned, since the original buyer never bought the optional alarm, this connector was never connected to anything, though it has always been in the wiring harness.

Hi, I have a '99 Adventurer, which is the same bike, pretty-much. There is definitely a plug and a socket. The plug has one link in it, but I can't see which holes it is in exactly. The clip is to the top of the plug in the picture. Hope this helps.
Cheers, Tony.
