Just to keep the game going, this is a factory trials bike that was nothing special until it was matched with the rider.

Well done Alan,I have a little history if anyone is interested. It is a Norton International 350.The log book starts in 1948 but we think it's a '49 model.
It belonged to Roy's dad who passed away several years ago so Roy inherited it and started to do some digging as his dad told him it had been raced in the IOM TT.It is fitted with a TT carb.
It secured 5th place in the TT Junior clubmans race, ridden by Ted Pink, then in 53 Peter Beeny came 15Th and subsequently it suffered two DNF's.
This model preceded the works Manx Nortons designed by the legendary Mr. McAndless.
Nothing special in the history but a bike to treasure, when we checked the oil before Roy started it I realised it was Castrol R and was as clean as a whistle although being stuck in the shed for some years.
I am hoping to get a ride on it during its return to the Island in June.

digging into my old pics again, see if you can guess the make and model - this is a pic from the early 1980's, but the bike, virtually unchanged is still being produced today, there is another of the same type in the background

Yes - your turn
This bike came to Australia via Argentina where it was a military or police unit, hence the lights and gun mounts and it has markings for Russian police (I think). By the time of this photo I think it had a transplanted BMW 900 engine to make it reliable.
