I had to go out around lunchtime and the outside temp was sitting at 38C 100.4F. There was not a breath of wind and it was really just hot. As I was driving I could see a cold front comming in. It looked almost like a wall.

Well within around 15 minutes it hit me. The temp suddenly dropped down to 21C 68.8F with the wind blowing.

No wonder we get sick with these changes in our seasons.

21C would be really nice here about now. Hitting below freezing still at night and daytime temps around +8-10C all week.
That is a very rapid change in temps, Dave. Can understand why it would mess with your body.

Wow, that's a sudden shift in temps alright!
As Q said, 21C would be nice around here right about now.
Winter is hanging on by the finger nails and just won't let go

21C is not a bad temp at all but such a sudden drastic drop seemed out of place. Maybe I have just never really noticed it before but being so hot one tends to take note.

38C would be a brutally hot day here. Here on the coast it never gets anyway near that hot.
When it gets up to 30C our tongues start hanging out
We had some of the hottest and sticky days on record last summer and I hope we don't get that again, but the weather guru's say this may be the start of the new normal.

Dave, that is a drastic, sudden change in temp! Wow! Forida weather can be darn fluky in the winter. We get big temp swings; but nothing that quickly!

Over the last few years we recording days durring midwinter with temps into the 40C 104F, very strange all round.

Here, it has been a cold, wet and windy spring so far, but we have had some sun this week.
Maybe 9C (48F) today, so might get a bike or two out of hibernation. It's 50-50.
A club ride is scheduled for Saturday, but that's 50-50 too due to the cold weather.

This week our temps are around 70F/21C for lows and 86F/30C highs, Really nice weather for riding.
