Carl - I had lost my password and tried numerous times to use the "forgot your password" option, but never got a response. Luckily, while purging old emails I found where you had changed my password, and it worked!

Weather here in Arkansas is still too cool for me to ride much. I have had my Bonnie out once and my Harley out a couple of times on very short rides.

I hate to say this, but the more I ride my FXDC, the more I like it. The Bonnie is now my bike mostly for when I want to ride hard and fast in the Ozark mountains (and sometimes there is simply no substitute for speed and danger).

I have been seriously considering selling one of my dual sports and buying Honda's new CB1100. I am a retro, standard bike fan and miss a bike with that inline 4 engine rush - this seems to fill the bill. Besides, most of the locals in my area want $5,000 to $6,000 for a nice 20 year old CB750, and my local dealer offered me a new CB1100 for $9,000.

But, I'm reeling a bit from the cost of putting in a new boat dock that I paid off just yesterday ($24K), so I'll suppress that desire for a while.

I am a retro standard bike fan too and the CB1100 holds a lot of appeal for me.
But I already have the Bonnie and a CB900F (919 in the US) so I'm not exactly wanting.
Here in the east our dealers are relatively small compared to the big cities so our local dealer only received two CB1100's and they were both sold without hitting the showroom floor. As a result I didn't even get a chance to see one.
Oh well, maybe one of these days :y2:

Gary, good to see you back. I am glad you got your password issue straightened out. I would love to see pics of your dock. The Ozarks are a such a beautiful area and offer superb riding.

I, too, am a retro person. However, the forward control cruisers are just not comfortable for me. My back does not like that riding position. I have nothing against HD at all; I like them. They just don't build a bike that I suits my riding style.
