I have a worn out rear tyre on my T140v and am a bit confused about the best replacement. I want to keep the classic bike look so don't want to fit a tyre with modern tread. I've looked at the Dunlop K181 which looks the part and also the Avon AM22 Roadrider which I hear is very good but looks a bit more modern. I have also read that Dunlop tyres are prone to wall cracking.
My front tyre which I aim to keep is a Dunlop K70.

Any advice concerning a traditional looking replacement would be gratefully received.

Happy biking

The key to good tire life is to RIDE THE BIKE, with proper inflation the tread will wear out before the sidewalls ever start to crack.

90% of complaints about tires (and everything else on restored bikes) can be traced back to lack of use (sitting).

Cheers Rocky,
At the moment I'm favouring the Dunlops as the Roadrider looks a bit too
All are good choices.
I've used the Dunlop K70 with great satisfaction, but at present am using Dunlop K81 - mainly because it's harder to get the K70 up here.

Cheers Grandpaul,

I'll try to remember to keep them pumped up.
