We did a long weekend tour, stayed in a static caravan at Greenacres (Haven) at Porthmadog, which turned out to be a great spot as we could ride all day and then chill out and eat at the restaurant there. The weather was cracking the whole time, with hardly a cloud in the sky.

You'd almost think we were near the med in these photos, rather than a Haven caravan park in Wales

The scenery in Wales wasn't bad either

The static caravan worked out great, as for a long weekend in May it was £200 for a place that could sleep 8 and that included access to all the facilities at the park.

And it doesn't take much rain to ruin a crop. It's always interesting to be running down the highway and seeing some of that "snow" that has blown out of the trailers on the way to the baler. . . looks just like snow, well at least the snow we get around here.
