In another thread we were discussing gas prices.
All last week the rumor went around that our gas prices were going to take a 6 cent a litre jump in price. This caused quite a furor and anger throughout the province.
Well, the price "only" went up 2.3 cents a litre and now everyone is relieved and somewhat thankful - and somewhat forgetting that they're still paying more and being gouged.
Gas prices are a "hot button" issue everywhere and it's a bit sickening how we're being manipulated this way.

I have just given up worrying about the price of gas now. I don't even know what the current price is and each time I fill up I just notice the cost is higher and higher :y7:

That's pretty much my attitude. I don't drive a lot these days since I'm retired so I don't spend a lot on gas. In the past two weeks I've only used 1/4 of a tank of gas in my car. But this will pick up during the summer with the bikes on the road and running back and forth to my cottage.

We are definitely feeling the pinch of the increased oil prices. The rising prices not only affect our travel, they are causing every thing else to go up in price.
