Yes it is. It costs me as much to fill my Tiger as it did my F150 three years ago.
The hints have been flying all week to expect at least a 2 cent a litre increase in gas prices this weekend. It looks like a certainty now.
But as been seen by the posts here, we're well down on the price scale compared to other places so I suppose we should consider ourselves lucky.
Funny, but I don't feel lucky :y2:

We have the highest prices in the U.S. here in california. It's gone down in recent weeks i think, but it's been hovering between about $4.25 and $4.50 for the last couple months. And thats at the cheapest stations. It's over 5 bucks at some. If it doesn't go down by summer i won't be riding near as much.

Good to hear from you Dazco. Just this morning I wondering if all was well with you as you haven't posted in a while.
The vultures were as good as their word. Here, gas is going up 2.5 cents a litre this weekend to $1.47.7. That's over $5.00 for a US gallon.
A couple of years ago gas went over $1.60 a litre because a hurricane damaged a US refinery or some such lame excuse, so we've been in this territory before.
