What's a drive in ???
I thought everyone would know what that was, oh wait that is something different 
There are no longer any drive-ins around here. The passion pits are long gone. CRY
I was over by a drive-in on Saturday. . . 
Most of ours are long gone but there are still a few and even a couple new ones. We do have a bunch of those like in Dave's photo. . . Drive-In liquor stores and people wonder why we have a drinking and driving problem around here.

Drive in liquor stores always made me laugh......in a sad way.....CRY
The best "weird combo" store was Kings Discount Drugs & Sporting Goods in Chipley Fl. (if the link works to the facebook page) I include this just incase you think I am kidding.

I don't think we have any drive in left in SA still operating or that I know about. The best one I ever went to was situated on top of a mine dump and here is its sad ending Top Star dump going fast
I have been there. It is a very interesting place to visit. In fact, Mabel and I were there in August.
Did they still have the Circus? Used to have a "Little Big Top" Circus show. I think PETA was on them at one point to stop it.
At the rate the flat screen T.V.'s are growing we all will have a drive in theater in our living room....seriously, saw an ad for a 70" flat screen yesterday......

When we stopped in, they did not have the circus although I saw the setup for it.
Remember it doesn't have to be a Drive IN Movie, an old style Marque Theater will work as well.

I've got to get Betty legal again before I can grab it. I got stopped by a State Trooper on my last ride. . . expired inspection sticker and she won't pass inspection as she sits now. I hope to have her back on the road this week.

Seriously? Whats wrong with her? We don't have inspections in Alabama......if we did 60% of the cars wouldn't be on the road lol.

I hit a pretty good pothole and lost her gas gauge and left front turn signal. I just need to pull off the plastics to get at the terminal strip, pretty sure it's just a couple loose connections.

Turn signals a must, I haven't had a working gas gauge in a few years. Its on "the list" though.

The pothole wasn't all that bad, I knew there was a loose connection on the gas gauge which only took a sharp knock to lose the signal. Prior to the pothole I had noticed my turn signal flash reflection in the chrome cowboy bumper of the truck I was behind. When I hit the pothole I notice the gauge drop from full to empty and at the next intersection I did not notice the flash from the signal in the reflection.
I should have gotten a ticket, the inspection sticker had expired eight months ago but the Trooper let my excuse stand. I sort of told him the bike had been stored since the last ride and I was in route to get the inspection renewed. Well it wasn't a complete lie, Betty had been in the garage since the last ride earlier that morning. To be completely honest, I knew the sticker was expired and had known this since it expired.

Yes thats usually a good excuse, used a similar one years ago in my Isuzu Trooper (speedometer hadn't worked in months) got pulled over, explained I was on my (luckily pointed in the right direction) way to the dealership to get a new one as it being an Isuzu I couldn't get parts at the Auto Zone and was going to have to pay FULL (read fool) price at the dealer.....sat and had a "bitch fest" with the LEO about costs of repair parts for foreign cars for about 15 min. and he let me go with a "warning".........I really wasn't on my way to get a speedometer, and actually never got one, sold the thing 2 years later......Sorry officer Bob, if your reading this
In my defense it was an 86 Isuzu Trooper, the new speedometer and cable would have just about cost what the darn thing was worth......
