I have reinstalled my rear axle (Triumph T140v 1978) and the rear wheel looks as if it is too far to the left see attached pictures.
The order I installed the parts starting from the left is: axle, washer, chain adjuster, swing arm, chain adjuster, wheel, speedo assembly, large washer, brake calliper, chain adjuster, swing arm, chain adjuster, washer, nut.
Everything seems to be aligned well, chain, brake calliper and the wheel turns free.
Can anyone help with this ?

This is the best diagram for a '78 available in the Haynes manual. There are other manuals you can download and check here on TT if you do a search.

Sorry about the quality but it's tough to scan from a thick manual.
