Rear Axle Cover Tool.

Has anyone seen these axle covers before? What tool do you need to loosen them so you can adjust the chain? Previous owner never loosened them, hopefully the shop adjusted his chain for him. I am hoping I can purchase the correct tool.

Kinda looks like a decorative cover. Can they just be pulled off with a bit of wiggling?
Never seen those before.

That's a new one on me too. I'm 100% certain that it didn't come from the factory that way.
Once you get it off I would leave it off - but that's up to you.

So the front axle covers simply twist/pull off. The rear axle covers have a small Allen screw pinch bolt underneath, so no special tool needed. And no they aren’t standard. Problem solved.
