I have done just over 300 miles ,when I picked up my bike 4 days ago and rode it home putting it into the garage I heard a rubbing noise something didnt seem right so I phoned the dealership it strangely sound like true rubbing, they said as the tyres are new it could be that on the floor.Any I went to check and adjust the chain on a paddock stand and turned the wheel and it seems the chain is touching the chain guard then I spotted what could be a serious fault, the rear wheel bearings on both sides seem to not be flush and have alot of throw?? I was going to ride the bike in a few days time back to the dealership but that's 160 miles and I'm alittle concerned about something going pop ,I will phone them first thing in the morning has anyone else had this issue thanks for any response in advance. P.s I love the bike just hope it isn't a sign of me being just plain unlucky

I'm not able to help, but this certainly sounds like a serious issue and you have to wonder how this got past quality control at the factory - or even the dealer.
Keep us informed.

I believe speed twin are assembled in Thailand tho I could be wrong the dealer I have faith in triumph I'm not so sure about.
If you have a good dealer to go to, then the problem should be sorted fairly quickly.
Getting the bike there 160 miles away is the next challenge.
This may lead to the bike being at the dealer for a period of time so you have to transport the bike and also get back home.
Let us know how things go.

Don’t get upset Birdman things will turnout fine , this crap happens and happens a lot if you enjoy piston engined devices . It’s the price you have to pay , sometimes I think being married is easier...... Including a photo of my grandson for you .He is a high level multi sport athlete whose had more than his share of bad luck compared to the meger trophy collection. His weekend at a Hockey Tournament in Ottawa , 1400 kms away , ended with an injury to his trick knee which had been operating much better than normal allowing him be well up in the scoring stats for the first time in a few years . His season is most likely finished and ...look at that smile and the socks ...18th birthday tomorrow too... 6EB9FD40-AC13-439C-ABBF-ADD000372665.jpeg
