It would be 24-25 hours or driving without traffic or construction delays to get close to there. That better be one darned fine sammich if I made the run.
Well I now have a septic guy scheduled to come tomorrow........we have field line issues I am afraid as the yard is saturated with water..... on a normal day (I am told) you dig 3 feet down you hit water but now........no need to dig......UPS guy had to haul a HEAVY box to me from the street---he said there was NO WAY he was pulling in......ANYWHERE today......he has been on this route for 10 years says its the worst he has seen as far as standing water.
We have received over 45" of rain this year so far an average year is 50-58 for the entire year.......
Actually it worked out fine. Turned out to be the outlet under the house that ran to the pump had gotten submerged (its been wet) and shorted out....but the (expensive) pump and all the other "working parts" are working great.
Now ----since we haven't had enough rain--- we have Tropical Storm Erika heading our way .......GRRR--eeeat!
