There’s a braai competition series out there that was shot mostly in Port Elizabeth. It’s pretty cool. I forget what it’s called… Top Braai or Braaimasters or something like that. The senior judge is kind of a d—k, though.

Just suffered through “Outlaw.” In Australia it was called “1%.” Obviously about the 1% MC world, this one set in Aus.

What an absolute pile of dogcrap.

Basically 1.5 hrs or so of every biker cliche’ and stereotype ever contrived with all the cheesy leather vested machismo to be expected. That, and 3 or 4 scenes of male on male rape as if all the other barely bearable scenes of hot garbage weren’t enough.

Don’t waste your time.

I hate these types of shows and at times you just carry on watching in the hopes it will improve.

The club in that film was called “Copperheads.” Funny enough there are no Copperheads in Australia. That snake species is limited to the SE’ern US.

I’m looking forward to “Bikerider.” That one’s supposedly based on the Outlaws MC in the Chicago AO back in the 60’s when the 1%er clubs when off the deep end. Release date keeps getting pushed back, this time they’re saying because of the writers strike.
