Well as it's on the way to the Creswell Bomber Memorial, I took Chris the the Triumph Monument in Meriden. The site of the old factory, I didn't tell him we were going there, he thought it was just the old BSA Factory and then the Canadian Bomber Memorial, here are a few pictures for you.

Sorry about all the scrap metal ruining the picture. Local car gang with their noisy exhausts doing burn outs. Dickheads.
This is all that's left of the once mighty BSA, what a shame we had it all, then lost the lot.

Wow what a cool trip and as Rocky said it must be great to be able to see these historical places like this.

There seemed to be a lot of people outside the BSA factory, what was that about?

I think that it's a meet up by the local boy racers, as I'm not into cars in any way I didn't bother to ask them. They started to line some cars up, side by side, so Chris and me decided it was time to leave, I've no problem with them smashing their cars up, but I didn't fancy mine, or Chris's Thruxton to be on the casualty list.

MOT can probably explain better, but I think it's a place for the small car "hot rod" enthusiasts to meet and show off their latest mods and burn rubber.
I notice custom wheels on some of the cars which leads me to believe that.

I'd say Bang on with that Rocky.
We have plenty of those around here that we call "tuners" because they usually have very loud muffler (silencers) and sound systems too that blast the air and annoy people for blocks away.
We can't stand the sight or sound of these idiots.
They often meet in public places (parks, etc.) and when the people get fed up with them they call the cops to chase them away.
The cops are making it so hard for them to gather in large numbers that they can't find a place to frequent - and that's fine with mostly everyone.
