Hmmm...my GPS is also got a car kit to stick it to the windscreen.....but I didn't think the curve of the Trophy screen would allow it to hold???

it does and works well ! i just damp the sucker a bit first and hay presto its stuck, and wont come off till you want it to :y2:

AJ, I don't know. I have not had good luck getting any suction cup devices to stick to my Summer Screen. I have to stick my toll transponder in my jacket pocket; it will not stick. I darn sure wouldn't trust my GPS to hold.

BTW.....

I mounted a 12V DC output receptacle right on the gray flat area below the cubby box opening on the left side of my fairing to plug in things like the GPS and chargers for mobile phones, etc.

Just drilled a 1 inch hole slowly with a hole saw and ran the wiring to my fuse block. It's got one of those weatherproof rubber plugs for when I'm not using it.

Works great!

ye i put mine on last weekend in the same place you put yours !TUP
and carl honestly you cant move it once it on ,infact its hard to get off !

Yeah...not often, but it does sometimes.

And it's much flatter than the Trophy screen.

Of course, I'm running a lower than stock Trophy screen so it's got more curve in it too.

I would worry about it if I don't clean the tank first and mount it over dirt.

It has a non-marring material underneath it to prevent any damage but if you put it over a dirty tank (which mine presently is) then the dirt acts like sand paper.

from what ive seen of other sucker types ! the single with push over leaver are the best to have ,and very reliable .

i must just have a one off or something ! becouse if i tried to pull mine off id b !rake the bracket or the satnav
