So, my restoration and modification project is nearing completion (finally), and I'm looking at adding a tank bag to add carrying capacity to my tail trunk--which is shown in these photos from earlier in this summer (but without the straps attached).

Has anyone had a good experience with a decent-sized tank bag on an OIF bike--or for that matter on any Meriden Triumph with the larger-sized fuel tank like mine has?

My minimum requirements are that it have a map window on top (yes, I still like using an analog map) and stay put without marring my shiny new paint.

That is a massive tail bag!
Hee-hee... I think the cell phone's lens makes it look bigger than it is in the second pic. The first photo is more representative.

The pannier-like extensions stick out less than the saddle's width to the sides. Neat thing about it is that it's kind of rigid, so doesn't move around a lot or sag. I haven't camped with it yet but have done some grocery runs, and it holds more than you'd think.

You can mount it either way, so the rain cover can act as lumbar support, or not if you don't want that.
