You did add something to the forum. I have owned a 2020 T120 Black for about five months now. So I'm delighted to learn that yours has been trouble free. How many miles do you have on it? Have you made any mods or added in accessories?

I have added cruise control, driving lights and a luggage rack to mine. Next I'm adding a Madstad wind screen and modifying the headlight.

I have owned my 2020 Bonneville T120 black for two years now, and I have no complaints. Nothing. I have nothing to add to this forum. Everything is working perfectly. My 2002 Land Rover Discovery on the other hand..........
Well......I do have something. Irony . It seems that after my last post, I had a driver in a Tesla knock me off of my bike on an interstate highway. I was doing 20 plus. So, I now have a broken collarbone and four broken ribs. This all happened July 7. Fortunately, my bike will be repaired and back on the road soon. Be careful out there.

Well here’s some stuff , since this thread is begging to be lengthened .
1 . We are getting a lot of rain and hot humid weather . The hot humid has forced me into taking a cart for golf , something I’m not happy about but when things cool off I’ll do some walking , cart golf is not something I enjoy . We are cutting grass every four days and the crops are being harvested a month earlier than normal . The systems are coming up the east coast like an escalator that won’t stop , often sunny hot days and evening thunderstorms with 40 mm in an hour .
Tested my Givi crash bars and Bark busters on our little Gaspe trip and they passed with flying colors , just a low speed greasy spot with inadequate tires get off but the Givis didn’t bend a bit and with the Bark Busters help the side panels are fine . I have no problem recommending both , the B B’s are , as expected , very strong .
The Busters were back ordered from F9 all winter and when they finally became available the colour I wanted wasn’t available so had to settle for silver which turned out to be a great choice anyway .
Will sent some pix to brighten your day .

Heal well! How long will you be out of commission?

I can certainly relate to the broken ribs and collar bone. I'm glad you did not receive any worse injuries. I'm also glad that your bike is repairable. Be v sure to do your rehabilitation exercises faithfully. They really help.

You tempted fate!
If it's any compensation, I recently took a taxi from airport to home. About 35 minutes ride. It was a Tesla. So had a good enough journey to judge, open road, town.

It was fairly quiet. Not that quiet, engine noise isn't that great inside a modern car anyway. The actual ride was horrible. Really hard suspension. What's that Musk up to? And the looks, awful. Outside you'll know. Inside, had an impressive see-through mirror roof. Everything else was somehow styleless. Not in a function way, just styleless. And the satnav/driver screen! Totally friggin absurd. Almost as big as a television screen.

It will take another month for my bike to be repaired. Me however, I have a lifetime of clavicle issues. I can't believe they didn't total my bike. I'm feeling lucky
Sounds good on the bike! Take note of CarlS advice on rehabilitation, therapy excise is critical for good results, been through a rotator cuff surgery earlier this year and just getting my arm functional and strong enough to ride. Hope yours turns out well.

I agree. A program of physio and exercise is a must to get the function restored to as good as it can be.
I had a shoulder prosthesis inserted resulting from a crash and worked very hard for nearly six months to get 95% function back. That's the best it can be and I'm thankful for that. I don't even think about it anymore. Good luck TUP

Recently, a friend hit water on an old concrete road, just tapped the brakes and boom. Broken collarbone two fractured ribs. So you have him beat in the rib department!
Do take care, and be thankful that you’re still sucking wind!

Man, oh man Carl, you are one tough old guy to say the least!!!
Earlier on you mentioned the extent of your injuries and I thought to myself that this would end your riding days.
How delighted I am to have been so very wrong TUP TUP

Thank you very much, Rocky. That means a lot to me coming from you. I have slowed down a bit. And, truthfully, you were my inspiration to get back on two wheels.
