The Thunderbird is awake once again after a loooooong winter slumber.
Fired right up after installing the battery and checking all the vitals.
Yesterday was a beautiful spring day but I had stuff to do.(n) Today will be the first ride of the 2019 season.(y)

Did enjoy a ride up the river with my wife on back.
Was a little cool but not bad as we were dressed for it.
First couple of times on the brakes, thought I was just rusty in my feel of them. Nope, I was not rusty. The back brake was not working. Pedal went all the way to the bottom of it's travel. If I pumped them up, I would have brakes. Fluid was full as appears clean. Think the master cylinder was bypassing. Dammit, this means a trip to the dealer as the brakes cannot be bled on the T'birds unless the ABS system is bypassed thru the computer. Wonder how much this is gonna hurt the pocket book?

The earliest the shop can get it in is 2 May. Dammit for this happening during peak season.
Won't have any idea of the problem and how much or long the repair will be until then. "Sigh", grin and bear it.

That is just plain awful. At least that is only two weeks away.
