Thanks Dave.

I've joined your group because one cannot have too much advice and support.
I have a life long love of triumphs and have a 1953 t100 spring hub and a 1964 t100 sc which I imported from Baxter cycles..

I live in Wales. U. K.

All the best Frank.

Good morning gents.. Thanks for the warm welcome... Sikatri wanted a few photos.

I've had the 53 for twenty five years..
The 1964 SC for just a couple of years.. I couldn't start it when it arrived and then I had surgery on my right knee.

And it was at the back of the shed looking like it would have to go.
Our local classic bike expert has recently installed the Electrex module and we've ditched the energy transfer system. It's like night and day.. He even started it with his hand when he brought it back.. I was amazed.

Now I can start it I'm working my way through the bike changing the oils and checking everything.. Bit of a shock when I discovered the tyres were over 21 years old. New rubber on last week and if it ever stops raining here I will sort out another shake down ride.
If I can get one of the shorty cranked kick start levers I 'll probably put it on.. At present it has a t100 lever.. Hope your winters are short.. All the best Frank.

Thanks for the great pictures . Looks like a lovely December day in Wales ,wish we could have Welch winters here in Prince Edward Island, Canada . Plus 14 C today , with strong south winds of course , getting the snow tires on next week . Welcome aboard , love the bike and Happy Holidays. …

Great pictures. Sure miss my '53. Bought it '58 in about 10 boxes. Spent a year learning about how to put it all back together and how to pour new bearings and fit the crank and wrist pins. The only Triumph dealer was a ferry boat ride away in Victoria, BC. They assisted in getting the sprung hub back together after I foolishly looked inside.
