Don't relate to the gun thing, we aren't allowed to carry a hand gun in Australia unless Police, Security or Military & there are strict regulations on them. We don't have Bears either. Koalas aren't bears & run from you, not at you.
No worries then. Yes, carry is not an issue y’all have as an option. Most places outside of the US likely. Have not really looked it up. The real point was all issues can be addressed.

Of course i realize the speed twin has cast wheels, but i don't like that bike at all. It's pegs are set back further, which is enough alone to keep me away. And the whole bike has that lean forward stance and higher seat height going on which i hate because it's a thruxton frame. (thruxton is the triumph i like LEAST of all the twins) Add to that the paint scheme is my least liked of any triumph i can think of. So i'm not going to buy a bike i don't want so i can have tubeless wheels ! I like the street twin much better and it's cheaper. Thats likely what i will end up with unless i change my mid on the T120.

LOVE LOVE my Street Twin and it is bike #15. It is in the top 3 for sure.

I went to a talk by Lois Pryce - The Girl on a Motorcycle - about her Iran trip. She used heavy duty motocross inner tubes on her spoked wheels and had no punctures even on unmetalled roads. I still think using the "puncture repair in an aerosol can" would get me home slowly, though likely to require thorough clean up at proper repair. Carry spare inner tubes with you on tour

Tragically, the UK hasn't seen bears in the wild since the Anglo-Saxons. Their wolves didn't make it much longer.

I'm probably cursing myself, but it just occurred to me that in all my years of riding I've never had a single flat. :giggle:

If you are comfortable with tubeless tyres why not convert your spoked wheels to be able to take tubeless tyres?

Believe me, this works. I done mine over a year ago, no problems at all. I got in touch with the central wheel company about the safety rim on Akront wheels, this was their reply, and their system Airtight System - Tubeless Conversions - Services
The Akront Rims do have the correct safety humps for our system to work . The Humps are there to stop the tyres popping off if you get a puncture .

Can that be self installed?

Yes. I did this all myself. Here are a few pictures of before and after wheels.

I'll grant you the last one doesn't look pretty, but since I put the tyre back on I've not noticed it :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
This is the stuff I used.

They'll need these too. Only for the Thunderbird 1995 model mind, best check what size they need for their bike.
