I tried to do a grocery shop on-line a couple of times - it was horrendous and only then did I realise how many brands and variations of the same brands are out there. Under each 'product' eg: shampoo or dog food or tinned peas, there were dozens and dozens brands and brand variations. It took ages, hours to go through the lists and tick which product I wanted, quantity, size etc. Eventually I gave up, got in the car, went to the supermarket, grabbed what I needed and was out of there in 45 mins! Won't be doing that again.

Otherwise, you are not alone. The selections and various sizes (the "family size" is not ALWAYS cheaper) ad in "organic" options extra salt no salt diet not diet.......a trip to Walmart can make your head EXPLODE. And don't get me started on portions!!!!!!ANGER I KNOW 5-10 years ago a granola bar was NOT .5 oz. it was 1 or 1.5 oz. I am paying twice as much for a fraction of the product. If you are being a grumpy old man then I am firmly in the grumpy old man camp with you, and am wondering where my official G.O.M. membership card is??!?!??!?!
Shannon andI went to Dairy Queen last week, nice little ride on the bike to get a couple sandwiches and an ice cream. 2 chili dogs and 2 ice cream "value meals" where 15.00?!?!?!?!?! REALLY! A "Peanut Buster Parfait" sunday was 4.00 it wasn't THAT long ago I got them for .99 cents.........i am still in sticker shock.
