A litre of regular gasoline sells for $1.37.7 here and we're being warned that it will rise to over $1.40 in the very near future - and to not be surprised if it's not $1.50 during the summer high demand season.
When I retired nearly 20 years ago and bought a new H***a motorcycle, the 12L tank could be filled up from empty for about $7.00. Average fillups were in the $5.00 range.
At the current price, the 19L tank on the 919cc H***a from empty would take $26.00 and change to fill up.
The 16.6L tank on the T100 would take $22.00 and change to fill from empty.
I don't expect to put my bikes on the road for another 3-4 weeks (maybe sooner depending on the weather) so I expect the price to be even higher by then ANGER
Times certainly have changed SAD CRY

They sure have and it is getting scary the way the price is just going up and up. They have also just introduced a high tax on our fuel this side besides the normal fuel increase CRY

This is what I am paying right now per L 10.93 ZAR = 1.41539 CAD

The tax on gasoline here is in the 40%+ range. It's been said to be 45%, but I don't know that for sure.
It pains me too much to even bother to look it up.
Oh well, whatcha gonna do!!
Maybe an electric scooter???? :y2:

current gas price here is $2.20 / litre = 1.78 usd
13.73 zar
1.125 gbp

currently 2cents below the highest ever at 5/11

as mentioned in another thread, I buy my fuel at a totally self serve outlet and on the high octane I can save anywhere between 4 and 12 cents per litre.

Here in Italy the fuel price is 1,85 € per litre.. For a weekend of 600 km I arrive to spend over 60 €.. Riding will be more a luxury then a passion.. :(
