I have been using TUNEECU for a while on my Tiger 800 and the maps that I downloaded for OEM aftermarket pipe seem pretty ok with the tiger.
Yesterday I downloaded the map from the America and it says its a 20516 OEM with aftermarket exhaust. but on the same page there is different VIN numbers
for example: maps for vin 466346 to 611104 then 466346 and up. and then again for 611105 and up. my map is for 466346 and up but my bike is way over the 611105. so do I just have the wrong maps? did they fix something in the 611105 and up maps? (also for the 611105 and up there is no aftermarket exhaust option)
curious if anyone has experience with these maps. I did however find a 20516 map that has the speed limiter removed and has a 5% increase in fuel maps from 0-2000 RPM I think. I wonder if that would fix my lean stall problem.
any insight would be helpful
Thanks again
Tim

I loaded tune 20516 into both my 20616 America and Speedmaster. Both are all stock including exhaust.
So far, they haven't blown up, and they seem to not have as pronounced of an off idle stumble compared to stock tune and they run pretty well. That said, I make no claim that this is the way to go.

This weekend I finished the previous owners AI removal removed the O2 and plugged them installed the 20516 map with the O2 and AI removed, sync the throttle Bodies and reset adaptation. Ram all the way to work with out off idle dead throttle. So I’m guessing remove the AI and also must remove O2. Ram smooth without dead spots. If I do any mods after this I’ll contact TTP and get a tune

I'm debating a TTP tune, but I haven't been brave enough to delete the AI and O2 sensors yet. I might get into it over the winter.
Looking forward to hearing your review if you do go with TTP.
