It happened to me 3 times, until my son took it for a ride and commented on exactly the same issue.
all happens slowing down to a light or stop, around 3 rd to 2nd gear clutch pulled in, to realizing the engine quit, quick press start button and engine restart no problems. Idle st at 1000

If your motorcycle is equipped with a scan port and ecu, I would think so.
Or you could just check it yourself.

Could be the regulator is starting to go.
Triumph 2015 T100 whit , 8000 klm .
Before i go get a own-meter ! i am not a mechanic, Can you explain the relation whit my eng, tuning off off suddenly when about to reach complete stop, whit clutch pull right in , and idle pre adjusted 1050. , A few time i had the importunity to pull over, and tried few restart , 2 to 3 times making sure it was not a battery or connection issue. I tought it was my riding until some other rider experience the same weird issue. I am a slow learner, all help welcome Thanks

Almost sounds like idle/air circuit dirty or plugged. Have you tried any cleaners like Seafoam or Techron thru it?
What type of fuel do you use and is it old from sitting long periods. Any ethanol is bad when sitting in modern day fuel injected engines.

Triumph T100 2015 8000 klm, I use used the bike one or twice a week, i burn a tank every 2 week! i alternate for the gaz 2 tank regular and 1 super. Triumph just changed the oil and said air filter was fine a couple blow that it . Tks
Ho! BTW maybe i should mention that; yes that bike was stored, for many years in a not heated shed, i leave in Canada, i bought the bike last year from an older man, it was under 1000 klm 600 miles(so equivalent of 1 gaz tank a year)

Try to stay with the Supreme gas for the simple reason there is no ethanol content in it. Ethanol attracts moisture which can corrode fuel system parts and then small ports, like injectors and circuits in the fuel system get plugged, causing issues. Seafoam is a good upper engine and fuel system cleaner, used in the correct proportions, of course and can be found at Canadian Tire or other auto parts stores. Usually about $11-12 a can and should do at least 3 tanks on your Bonneville. Cheap alternative to taking it to the dealer.

Great option so far! Ill go shopping, i was wondering if the gas filter or screen in tank could be plug or dirty , not running for so long period even whit only 8000 klm ?

Electrical problems are gremlins. LoL. I mentioned the regulator rectifier since I had similar issues. I didn’t bother to check mine since I noticed it had physical damage. My stopping issue went away with the new regulator. Meters are good basic tools to have for trouble shooting. I have one and it is a good basic investment. My motorcycle is less complicated than yours. Mine is a carburetor model from 2005. It doesn’t have the same electronics as yours, but the basic things like regulators are functionally similar I would think.

Ya just retired and thought to update whit modern electronic & injection. Younger i remember when it was coughing, clean plugs, check if dirt or water empty bowl carb from bottom. haha now it is just an other game, exemple, had an issue would not start, clic, ok fine clic it happen it was my battery too low, if 12.6 12.8 would start, 12.5 wouldn't. Found out why. Learning slowly. Thanks for my recent problem i suspect bad gas, or dirty filter or dirt in tank (was stored for 5 years) before i bought it.

I have two cars, a 25 plus old and a 13 plus old MINi, work on both and bought diagnostic and code readers for both. It pays off in the end. Before one needed a volt/ amp meter, now a mini diagnostic computer. LoL.

Update!
On the right track from; (bike didn't run for at least 4 years bought whit 1000 klm)
Thursday, 1) Checked the condition of plugs , one was kind of darker than the other one, so new plugs installed, 'just in cases"
2) Then, Seafoam spray injected at 2000 rpm, also (eng.off , idle, few rev up ) and repeat, "took a while to get the right spot to direct properly the spray in the air box hole before i got a engine reaction" Used 1/3 of the spray can,,
After engine cool off, restart idle 20 min no throttle.

3) I added near 1/2 of small bottle, gas conditioner injector & conduit cleaner in full tank ,

Friday, Time for ride, used one tank 250 klm , highway, country, town,
I noticed a change, the eng. smoother,at idle & rpm steady.,
Maybe early, so far; no eng. dying and what i thought normal before ; on quick stop, (engine off) on restart the engine was gaining a 250 rpm, and settle after a while,, i stoped,4 times , eng off, rpm 1050 steady ,
I'll keep doing the process 2 more times using gas "super"
* Also, a previous problem, since i purchased it last year whit 1000 klm , it was bucking bad at slow rpm,"traffic" ( because of low millage & reading to wait until at least 5000klm) before altering or changing anything, suspension or engine).
Now wondering if ? Thanks
